County Council elections – 1st May 2025

It’s that time again. It is time to choose your County Councillor for Lincolnshire. It is time to ask yourself what has changed over the last four years and has it changed for the better.

There has been a change at District Level, with a series of independent groups coming together to wrestle power from the previous Tory administration. Where this has led to some movement in the right direction, it has come at a price. Disrespect, personal attacks and rule breaking is at a high with multiple district councillors being censured for their behaviour. Meanwhile their colleagues have not once stood up for code of conduct that each member is to work by.

As such, there is no reason to expect this behaviour to change now we are looking to select County Councillors at this vitally important time during Local Government reorganisation.

That is why I am standing. I am professional; I am competent; I have a plan to bring out the best in our community whilst securing improvement to our services, investment to build our skills base and create the relationships to grow our industry and manufacturing sectors in Grantham.
